The island of Hvar, a hub of Adriatic beauty and history, is about to receive a significant modernization boost thanks to an exciting project at the Stari Grad ferry port. This development is set to not only enhance the quality of life for local residents but also elevate the experience for tourists visiting the island. According to our reliable sources, Lidl, one of Europe’s most renowned retail chains, has chosen this location for its first step on the island of Hvar. In the new commercial building, situated directly adjacent to the ferry port, Lidl plans to open a modern store spread across the ground floor and first floor, offering affordable and diverse shopping options for all visitors. To make the experience even more convenient, parking will be located on the rooftop of the building, facilitating easier access for customers.
In addition to Lidl, the opening of a branch of the prestigious German drugstore chain Müller is also planned. Müller, which already operates a smaller outlet in the town of Hvar, will significantly enrich the island’s offerings, providing various products for local and international visitors. But that’s not all. There is still an intriguing unknown – one commercial space in this building remains unsold or unleased.
